In a few weeks, my latest book will be available – in French only, sorry about that. It’s about French Cuisine and especially desserts from the south west of France. I illustrated 17 recipes Brigitte Carrère created – all these come from a long tradition though 🙂 Here is the Fouace Aveyronnaise illustration video.
This book was quite a long time in the making for several reasons. But an illustrated recipe is now something I can get done quite quickly. I usually go through three big steps : pencil rough, inking, and watercolor. I already listed the watercolor material and tools that I use, feel free to try on some of the listed tools.
Afterwards, I scanned the whole page and a graphic designer from the publisher made it into a spread.
